Description

The course is arranged as per STCW 78 as amended, Chapter V Regulations V/1-1 and V/1-2.

This course provides training for officers and ratings assigned specific duties and responsibilities related to cargo, cargo operations and cargo equipment on tankers. It comprises a familiarization training programme appropriate to their duties and responsibilities, including characteristics of tanker cargoes, their associated hazards, safety measures, pollution prevention, emergency operations, cargo equipment and cargo operations.
