Objectives

The object of this course is to provide the ship’s electrician or ETO/engineering officer on vessels powered by MAN ME engines with additional electro-technical knowledge and skills to maintain and repair the Engine Control System and relevant engine components.

Entry standards

This training is aimed at ship’s electricians and engineers who have completed the MAN ME basic course E005-O.

Required equipment

To participate in the course the following equipment is required:

  • Computer or tablet (the screens of mobile phones are too small)
  • A stable internet connection
  • Camera
  • Headset

Certification

On successful completion the participant will receive a certificate of MTC
