Objectives
  • to provide participants the knowledge about the ME-B engine and the engine control system
  • to provide participants the knowledge about peripheral equipment like control system, filters, pumps and valves
  • to provide participants the knowledge about safe and efficient operation of the ME-B engines
Entry Standards
The course is aimed at, but not limited to, the following groups of people:
STCW 78 as amended and STCW 2010 Certificate of Competency holders (engineering officers, chief engineers, marine superintendents) who wish to improve their knowledge about electronically controlled engines of MAN.
Certification
On successful completion the participant will receive a MTC certificate
