Description
The course provides practical training for fire fighting on ships carrying inflammable liquid cargos or liquified gas. Training is mandatory for ships subject to the IGF code.
Objectives
  • Contribute to the safe operation of a ship subject to the IGF code
  • Understand principles of fire fighting with liquid hazardous goods and liquified gases
Entry Standards
The course is principally intended for seafarers holding an IGF 1 certificate or fulfilling all requirements to apply for this certificate (successful completed certified basic training for ships subject to the IGF code)
