The course is arranged as per STCW 78 as amended, Chapter V Regulations V/1-1 and V/1-2.
This course provides training for officers and ratings assigned specific duties and responsibilities related to cargo, cargo operations and cargo equipment on tankers. It comprises a familiarization training programme appropriate to their duties and responsibilities, including characteristics of tanker cargoes, their associated hazards, safety measures, pollution prevention, emergency operations, cargo equipment and cargo operations.
Seafarers who have completed an approved basic safety training as per Reg VI/1
MTC certificate, BSH tanker certificate and IGF certificate
