The Maritime Resource Management Course is a further development of the original SAS Bridge Resource Management Course. The course is to change attitudes – by a better co-ordination of the skills, the knowledge, experiences and resources available to the crew to accomplish or achieve the established goals of safety and efficiency. The participants will learn by means of lectures, discussion, computer based training
and practical training on simulators with the following course subjects: Situation Awareness, Cultural Awareness, Communication and Briefings, Challange and Response, Human Errors, Teamwork, Decision Making, Stress Management and Managements of Unexpected Events.

Human factor training in accordance with IMO Reg. A 960 for pilots and moaring masters. This maritime resources management training has been developed by HPS GmbH, a subsidiary of the Hamburg Harbor Pilots in cooperation with the Swedish Club particularly
for the requirements of pilots. MRM is a training to improve coordination of skills, knowledge, experience and available resources to achieve the highest standards of safety and efficiency for pilots.
