Description

The course provides practical training for fire fighting on ships carrying inflammable liquid cargos or liquified gas. Training is mandatory for ships subject to the IGF code.

Objectives

Contribute to the safe operation of a ship subject to the IGF code
Understand principles of fire fighting with liquid hazardous goods and liquified gases

Entry standards

The course is principally intended for seafarers holding an IGF 1 certificate or fulfilling all requirements to apply for this certificate (successful completed certified basic training for ships subject to the IGF code).
