Precision Training for Safe Navigation in the Swedish Archipelago

At MTC, we previously conducted a simulation with the ship’s captain and the pilots from Stockholm to practise a cruise ship’s approach the Port of Stockholm through the archipelago. This procedure is required for large vessels prior to their first port call. The Swedish archipelago is one of the most challenging waters for large ships. Thousands of islands, narrow passages and sharp turns require the highest level of concentration from pilots, the ship’s captain and officers. The Stockholm pilots did an excellent job—focused, precise and highly efficient. Thank you for the outstanding performance.
